I downloaded the following file:
9300jAsia_PBr6.0.0_rel1879_PL6.6.0.124_A6.0.0.448_ StarHub_Ltd.exe

Have the desktop software version: 6.0.2.42 Bundle 43.

The Device OS is 5.0.0.977 Bundle 1603 Platform 6.3.0.63

Step 1:
Installed the desktop software and configured to sync up with my outlook and the device. Works fine!

Step 2:
Installed the 9300jAsia_PBr6.0.0_rel1879_PL6.6.0.124_A6.0.0.448_ StarHub_Ltd.exe

Step 3:
As per the instruction connected the device to USB.
The update button as indicated in the youtube vidoes and other google threads that I have seen does not appear.

Instead it gives me the message that there is no device software to update.

Please help!

Did you remember to delete the vendor.xml file? I forgot that once and was ready to rip out my hair in frustration.
