I need to customize blackberry email application by adding custom menu to it...am able to do add menu using applicationmenuitem..now i have to add menuitem when emailaddress is in focus...also i need to fetch the emailaddress which is on focus...similar to how "add to address" menu comes up when emailaddress is focussed..any suggestions or sample code will be helpul..

r u sure ? then how Blackberry guys doing for address field in email application...i had seen patternrepository api but thats working out only for contents in mail and not for email address in to or cc field..

Blackberry can do lots of things that you and I do not have access to.
