One of my favorite things about the 9900 is its appearance so I want to know how bad it's going to look before I get the extended battery. It's either get the extended battery or get a second OEM battery to carry around.

If you like the appearance of the 9900, then you will probably think it looks nasty with the extended battery. I use an otterbox commuter case on mine which makes it really difficult to change the battery so I decided to order a Seidio charging vault (Seidio Charging Vault Kit (BD2-PBPT22) - CrackBerry Canada). Unfortunately, there really isn't a good solution for this problem that doesn't ruin the appearance of the 9900.

I got the OEM battery kit with battery, charger for the battery and dual charging cord. You can charge both the 9900 and the spare battery at once.
It is available at Crackberry.com, Crackberry.ca (for those in Canada) and the other usual on-line retailers. I got mine right away at an independent (from the mobile phone companies) bricks and mortar retailer at the Crackberry.ca price after I quoted the on-line price.
