Dear Friends!

I'm using Blackberry Torch 9800. A week ago, suddenly its Trackball got stuck while pressing. This is troubling in input. All other keys stop responding unless I have to open Text Message and start typing and either Symbol Key or Enter Key and or any other nearby keys start working and the whole system starts working too. But as soon as the system is Idle, it becomes again the same way.

Further, I have to hard boot, if I'm using any application such as Facebook to restart the keys to work. Taking the same instance, keep pressing the touchscreen doesn't allow to switch applications in Facebook or any other third party application.

Can anyone guide me how to restore the trackball?

You would need to disassemble the device and replace the trackpad. The 9800/9810 devices are a lot of work to disassemble too.
