Default Shrink and Install OS for 9900

Please Login to Remove!

I used BBHTool and shrunk the official OS.
This was a recent release from my carrier.
Do I still need to delete the vendor.xml? (i already deleted it) and now if I install it do I still need to activate enterprise?

You don't need to delete the vendor.xml file(s) if the OS release is from your carrier. But it doesn't hurt (or affect) anything if you do.

If you install any device OS and if you are on a BES, you will need to reactivate the device on the BES.

If you are not on a BES, what exactly is your question regarding the need to "activate enterprise"?

I am on BES, and thanks for confirming that regardless of upgrading or installing it fresh, I need to reactivate, this means I have to do it on a weekday, since I will need a new activation password..

Question:
After I shrunk the OS (saved about 150MB) when I went to apploader, it said "downgrade" for core application package. (This is the official upgrade from carrier)

Is this normal?
