Default Upgrading to the OS

Please Login to Remove!

Hi everyone, please excuse my ignorance, but I've been reading the posts about things such as zen that allow for really cool wallpapers etc... It seems that I don't have zen and that I need to upgrade my Blackberry's OS. I simply do not know how to do this. Is this something that your provider does? Here's what I have:

Blackberry 8700c (I unlocked and switched to T-mobile )
OS Ver. : 4.1.0.194

How do I upgrade to get all of the goodies?

Try resending the service book. Are you on a BES?

When I upgraded OS, that didn't work for me when I lost my browser. What worked for me is going to Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table. Click the trackweel and click on 'Register Now.' You should have your browser back.

Thanks thatboiwes.... Your solution worked in a matter of seconds... ... Hey seattle18... I'm not on a BES. I know that I read somewhere here that I could change which icons show in zen. Now that I have my browser back, the icons on the home screen are different. How do I configure zen to show the icons that I use most?

Thanks everyone... I'm absolutely thrilled with my 8700. I think I'm on CrackBerry..... (lol)

Hey Brew..Simply click on the bottom icon on Zen theme...click on options...click on home screen...click on organize applications and you should be able to press the trackwheel to move the icons to the top of the list shown. The first 5 icons on list will show on main screen. Hope this helps.

Default Need for a reboot

My experience is this. The reboot step that Seattle suggested may be needed to repopulate your Voicemail number. So that can also bring back the browsers or the HRT trick.
