Ok... here's the deal. My BB is toast. I dropped it. RIM offered to Repair $190 or Exchange with a Refurb ($220) .... What would you do? Either way, I'm probably going to make sure I have 2 BB's in case this ever happens again. What would you do?

I would go the referb route....refurbs have had any hardware quirks corrected....just my .2

Looks like I gotta go with the "Repair". If I go with the "Refurb", then they'll lock it back to Cingular. I'm using Tmo, so I'd have to unlock again.

Yup... $45 from "The Man" (Adam); Due to my terrible mishap, I'm going to keep 2 8700's at all times. The one I bought from Cingular will be repaired, and as soon as Tmo uleashes their 8700.... I'm buying it without even blinking.... I just can't afford to slowed down again.... This was a definite lesson for me... I have learned my lesson VERY well.

Keyboard's not broken... Somehow the display got damaged "underneath" the screen... All I get is an all white display except for the "black crack", or multicolored display with the "black crack"... It is completely unrecognizable...

The bold looks really nice.... (lol)
