i just installed the new os with zen and orange themes

asside from being able to have a nice picture on my desktop what advantages does the zen theme and new os have?

its just a clean theme for those that wish to have it. there are no real advantages or disadvantages from one theme to another aside from personal preference. just try it out a bit. i'm one of those people who hates having any sort of icon on my desktop, so it natually filters on down to my phone as well. the Zen and Today themes made that possible.

I think that the apps menu activated off the front convenience key in Zen is a real advantage. It's a much cleaner way to scroll through apps by comparison with the right to left, top to bottom system on other themes. But of course it comes down to taste.

I had Bharti installed on my 8700g since 5 days and I love it.
I have to say that it's not only a "visual" issue but I noticed a huge improvement in life battery...

This is my own experience of course...

Jibi, where is this Today theme? i'd like to see it.

Another advantage of the Zen theme is that SMS messages are separated out of the main e-mail icon into their own icon.
