I installed the dimensions today theme today.
twice so far the bb has failed.
both times it says insert valid sim SOS in the corner
if i turn off the wireless and turn it back on the sos remains.
the only way i can turn the wireless back on is to remove the battery and sim for 30seconds

i called t-mobile they had no idea what to do.

i am using an unlocked 8700c on t-mobile
telestra OS

any ideas?

BTW the site i was on when the sim failed was BBForums and i was doing an OTA install of the vodafone today them

T-Mobile ( or any other carrier) will not likely be able to assist with any version of theOS other than their own...you've come to the right place here.

I had similiar issues with the Telstra OS. I had no issues with Bharti and when I first installed Telstra I was thrilled with it but after a day or so I had constant issues where I would get a sim barred message after seeing a call failed message.

My sim card worked in my wife's BlackBerry and with my other cell phone. I downgraded back to my carriers OS and my BlackBerry was back to normal. I thought let me try Telstra one more time and I noticed something strange. Telstra worked fine if I just installed the OS. If I took the .alx file jibi posted and used that the BlackBerry would act all weird and give me called failed and sim barred messages.

So I just did a wipe then installed Telstra OS alone. I did the OTA today of the two Today themes and always got an error where I had to reset the BlackBerry so I assume you need that modified .alx file to make them work.

I don't know what I did as I followed the instructions for Telstra to the T and it was similiar to how I did Bharti and after 6 or 7 times of totally wiping the OS and reloading it finally worked with no issues (Knock on wood) and the Today themes are working.
