Default Question about appointments...

Please Login to Remove!

Will your upcoming appointments display on the screen until they are active or do I have to go into the calendar manually and check whats coming up?

Thanks,

Rob

Are you referring to the notification (alarm/reminder) of an upcoming event in your calendar? You should have the option to open the item, dismiss the notice, or snooze the alarm for a pre-set amount of time at which point it will pop up again. If you're not referring to those pop-up 'reminders' then... sorry I have no idea what you mean.

Are you on BES or manual sync?

My bad, I didn't explain it well enough. I mean if you schedule an appointment and save it, is there any indication of it that is displayed on the main home screen while you wait for the reminder to notify you?

For example on the "Q" it would show you upcoming appointments on the home screen so you could quickly look what was ahead without having to go back into the calendar app to view them.

Gotcha.

There is a theme you can use that displays a type of "Outlook Today" screen that summarizes this type of information. If you do a search on the themes and look for "Today" you can find more info there. I switched to 'Zen' a little while back and everything else has become largely meaningless.

You can only do this with a "Today"-style 3rd party app, or with one of the Today themes, like Vodafone or Dimension Today (which requires a sort of hack to get them to display).
The "Q" allows that because its runs Windows Mobile and all WM devices can do that. The home screen of BB won't do it. Not unless you follow one of the options above.
