Default Jawbone BT or Blackberry Discovery 655?

Please Login to Remove!

Need advice, after lost of research currently debating between the 2.
Couple of questions for owners..
1) Which one is louder?
2) I've read that there's minimal if not no lag while answering/hanging up calls on the blackberry branded one. How does the jawbone compare to that?
3) Voice quality?
4) Comfort?

i dont have a jawbone so i cant tell you about it but the sound quality is good on the 655 and fits nicely, the only gripe i have is the ear loop and gel ear piece which easily comes off if you put it on your pocket... also in the car sometimes people cant hear so the DSP is a 50/50 at times

I find the volume on both about the same

The blackberry is almost instantanious when answering or hanging up, the jawbone is great, probably 1 second or less

voice quality is better on the HS-655, the jawbone is good if you get the fit right

leads into the last, I find the jawbone comfortable. It took a a few days playing with it and the different adapters, but once I got the right combination, I can wear it all day. Like wise with the HS-655, found the right size plug and was good.

Overall I think both are pretty good products. My only grip with my Hs-655 is its about 50/50 chance when I answer the call if it will go to the headset or not, it seems to drop the connection alot. Though for the record I have a pre-release model so their could be better firmware now.

The big difference will be in the Jawbone's noise canceling. Its far superior to the Plantronics. Also, I think the Jawbone has a bit better battery life. On the other hand, I do agree that the other party will sound better with the Plantronics. The Jawbone is OK, but the other end sounds tinny. You'll get used to it in a few days of use.

They both fit comfortably for most ears. Take the time and try the different earbuds and loops with the Jawbone. You'll hardly notice the weight difference.
