Default Setting Up BES Express - carrier service needed too?

Please Login to Remove!

hello all.

I'm completely new to the business of BB and desperately need a hand.

Have got BES Express on my Windows 2003 Server but am told that in order for any of the BB in my network to be able to work, I need to subscribe the appropriate services with my local wireless Carrier (ISP?).

Is that correct?

Feedback much needed.

TIA

Yes, that is correct. To be able to receive email on any BlackBerry you must have a BlackBerry data plan. If your carrier happens to have multiple data plans (consumer and enterprise) you MUST have the enterprise plan (about $40/month).
