I looked over other threads but no help there.



I have only two users as of right now who have a BB Pearl device.

I have added two users that were on Cingular no problem at all with activation.
I have another user who is on T-mobile that I cannot get synch'ed up to save my life. Something weird happens when we try to activate it over the air. Inside the Advanced Options Enterprise Activation disappears when you try to do an initial activation. We are currently running 4.1.0.38 on Exchange 2003.

I have noticed two different versions of the OS and platform for both carriers.


BB Pearl (T-Mobile)
V 4.2.0.64 (Platform v2.2.0.37)

BB Pearl (Cingular)
V 4.2.0.69 (Platform v2.2.0.40)

I know we have a list of updates to push but I don't handle server side for the BES. I have wiped her hand held several times and tried this process several times. PLEASE HELP me keep my sanity.

Does the T-Mobile BB have a blackberry data plan? I'm not 100% sure, but I think you may have to have a specific price plan to get access to BES from T-mobile.

As elgauchogrub mentions, it sounds like they are on the BlackBerry Personal plan rather than the Enterprise plan... or no plan at all.
