i saw a thread with a post about it but not an actual thread explaining how to use it.

i downloaded it and the reason im confused is because the post i read is the "default" preset works great for the pearl...

no it doesnt... there is no default designed for pearl and when i try to play the converted file on the pearl it gives me an error message every time.

if anyone else uses this free software, and got it to work, please let me know what im doing wrong.

a) it's annoying to bump your own thread within 2 hours of posting it. try and play nice, if people want to answer they will. This isn't HowardForums, there are different etiquette rules that apply on BBF. </rant>

b) there's an entire 9 page thread that's the first sticky in your face in the 8100 forum you posted to. Everything you could ever need to know (or ask) is in that thread about video encoding.

yea ive looked at the page numerous times, i read it and i still dont understand what to do, which is why i downloaded this program that i heard people said worked and it doesnt work for me, hence the reason i posted a thread about a third party encoder instead of how to encode because clearly i dont know how to do it myself. so i have 40+ views and nobody knows the answer.

so unless you want to give me some sound advice instead of telling me to do something that i cant do because i've already tried (some of us arent as patient or tech savvy as others), otherwise get off your high horse and get your panties out of a bunch.
