I've tried and tried but have been unable to get verichat to connect correctly on Vodafone UK. Messaging was my main reason for getting the 7100v so any help will be much apprecaited.
I get that 'failed to create tunnel' message.
I've setup the tcp/ip settings as explained in the help files (
http://www.blackberryforums.com/show...ight=verichat). intially I tried the APN, user name and password
Vodafone (UK)
Gateway IP: 212.183.137.12
Port: 9201
APN: wap.vodafone.uk
username:
password: user
but then vodafone support suggested APN 'internet' and user/password 'web'
neither have worked for me.
There is some question as to wether the APN should be .uk or .co.uk neither again has worked for me.
Any advice gratefully received

p.s. I also setup the vodafone email forwarding and couldn't believe that no mail server details were needed to set-up just a username/password. It does appear that vodafone has been able to pick-up email (it's in the email in box for viodafone) but I'm not clear that it's been pushed out to the handset - is there a setting I'm missing?
