Default How can i disable firewall in BB?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,
I've got blackberry on cingular. I fixed IT Policy but I still can disable firewall in my blackberry. Does anybody know how to do it?

huh it isn't so easy as you wrote man. if you have phone on cigular you dont have option "disable". does somebody know how to fix/crack it?? please help!!

Actually, it is that simple... and it doesn't matter what your wireless carrier is.
If you can't disable your firewall, then you probably didn't remove your IT Policy completely.

If I am not mistaken, RIM has made the firewall so that it can no longer need to be disabled.

Why exactly do you want to disable the firewall? Odds are you don't really need to disable it, but just don't know it. Tell us the situation and someone will have a solution.

You asked a simple question, to which I gave you the answer. If you don't have the option I suggested, then either Penguin is correct about your IT policy, or you have a different problem.

i followed instructions on this forum and i thought that removed it.


i need it to unlock this phone. when firewall is enabled i cant unlock this phone by BlackBerry Unlocker. help !!

If your phone is still on a BES system, it could keep having the IT policy pushed to it. If the phone is is used, you may have an issue with the selller.
