Getting attachments

Hi All
I am new here and would like advise on an issue.
I need to find out (if you can) move attachments sent to an exchange server which is sent straight to the blackberrys. Can i move the attchment from the phone to my computer or can i save the attchment on my phone and move it into the media section and transfer from there?
Any help will be much apperciated.
