I have and 8700g. I just recently upgraded to the 4.2 OS. I have e-mailed myself some pictures and trying to safe them to my phone. The problem is that my phone is saying file system full. I check my free file space and I have plenty.




Anyone know why I am getting this error?

I have a whole bunch. I tried to delete some ringtones and it still wouldn't work.

That's probably why. I would delete some pictures and try again.

That's why 4.2 for the 8700 isn't that great compared to 4.2 on a Pearl or 8800. There just isn't the space without the SD card.

In 4.2.1 you can set the media memory to a maximum of 15MB

I actually had deleted some more ringtones and tried again and it worked. I guess it is because of the 15MB limit for media files. Is there any way we can up the limit?

I was thinking of upgrading to the 8800 but i want wifi and 3g. supposedly the 8820 is gonna be out in the 3rd quarter of 07.
