Default bluetooth toggle?

Please Login to Remove!

I just got the BB8300 Curve phone from AT&T. I previously had the 8700 with At&T and had an icon on the main screen where I could easily toggle bluetooth on and off. Does anyone know how I can do this with the new 8300 phone?

As it stands now I have to go into the settings menus to access the Bluetooth menu and then enable/disable bluetooth there. This is pretty inconvenient and I'm hoping there's an easy solution out there.

BTW, I'm using the default AT&T theme and used the default Cingular theme on my 8700.

Welcome to the forums.

You'll be able to find the bluetooth options if you click on the "Manage Connections" icon.

Hopefully this helps! G'luck!

Welcome to the forum! I had the same problem, but figured out through trial and error, manage connections, is the toggle.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8300/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/107)

Sadly there is no really quick solution like on previous BB's. I loved the fact I could toggle on and off with one click on the icon with my pearl.

I set a convience key to Manage Connections. Click it, then turn off/on Bluetooth... Ok that is two steps, but still not bad.
