I was wondering , if anyone in India has ried using the blackberry connect services on Airtel.

I was planning to buy a treo 680, but only if Aitrtel supports it.
Can anyone help me with this??

I used to have a Treo 650 when I moved to India from the US back in 2005. BBC worked fine for me though Airtel refused to support it

Your best bet is to run google searches for directions and the right BBC software (latest one is BBC 4.0 I think - but may not work with your 680 - so you might hafta go with an older version), activate your BIS account on Airtel, and then run it

Just out of curiosity - why would you want a 680 when you can get the Curve? Both are ~$500 in India I believe

yeah, ur right... i'm using the blackberry pearl from airtel right now...
am considering the curve itself...
i just always liked the palm's intutive interface, since the treo 600 days...
anyways if it aint goinna work on airtel, then its better to just go in for the curve...
i dont really like sure type..
i prefer the full qwerty keyboard
