this really bite! got a tomtom 720. i also have a tmobile curve. now i find out rim is blocking data transfers. Why? got it to hook up via bluetooth but no data. any help? is rim going to fix this? this is so aggrevating.

I don't think the Curve will support a data connection via Bluetooth to a TomTom or anything else (to allow it to be used as a GPRS modem). It doesn't have the right Bluetooth profile built into it's software.

guess i thought since it was suppose to work on pearl it would be the same. read somewhere you have to have older os to get it to work said that rim has blocked it in newer os. Just think thats crappy. you buy stuff and want to use it to its limits. you no..

Tomtom Plus services work fine with the 8120 on 4.3 (all versions of 4.3 I have tried)
