Hi there

I have the 8707v model and recently updated the OS to v4.2.1.94. Since doing this, I've encountered a couple of 'issues'.

The first is that I have multiple email accounts and in the previous OS I could hide all the inboxes and just use one "message" box to receive all emails. Now this function seems to have vanished.

The other issue is that when the keyboard is locked, I now have to use the * and green button to unlock - the rollerball unlock function now doesn't work.

I've tried using various themes in case these functions were relative to the theme, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

I'd appreciate any advice on the above

The hiding of icons is more related to themes. Most likely if you change themes you'll be able to hide the icons.

The lock/unlock method changed with OS 4.2. There's no changing it without going back to 4.1

Thanks for your quick reply. I've tried different themes and none of them seem to allow me to hide the email inboxes and just use the one 'messages' inbox. Do you know of a particular theme that has the option to hide these?

What themes have you tried? I've never had issues hiding the email inboxes.

Ah hah - just figured it out how to do it by pressing the ALT and in on the roller ball to bring up the menu - what a fluke!

Highlight the icon you want hidden and then hit alt + click the wheel. You don't see an option to Hide Icon?

you will need to hide them individually and once they are hidden you can show/hide by selecting "Hide (show) all applications." All of your mail will automatically appear in your primary inbox.
