Hello all, im a new blackberry 8830 user here and have a couple of issues.
1st with the desktop software, i cannot get into me calendar, tasks, appt's etc to edit or change them. how do I do this?

2nd when i sinc my phone with outlook, it creates duplicate entries. these duplicate entries cannot be erased, ive tried several times, at first it says entry erased then the entry is just there you cannot open the appointment or edit or delete it at all. How do I completly erase my calendar, not the phone book or any thing else, just the calendar.

3rd how do you set up the phone as a modem?

I goto to the sprint store and ask for help and they tell me to call blackberry, so i call blackberry and they tell me to call sprint, i love the way big business is. Just need some help.

Let's start with what version of Outlook ub are trying to sync with as well as what version of the BlackBerry Desktop Manager you are using, and OS your BlackBerry is running, what version of windows as well.

1. You can configure the sync options, within the BlackBerry Desktop Manager, but to edit the actual calenday tasks, etc that is all done from the BlackBerry or Outlook.

On your BlackBerry go to options - security - press the menu key and you will have an option to wipe the BlackBerry. But that will delete everything, you could try backing up everything on BlackBerry except the calenday and then wiping it and restore it.

3. Not sure I have Verizon Wireless and haven't tethered yet.
