Blackberry Professional Software on Domino Issues

Ok, I successfully installed a separate Domino server on a Windows 2003 server. I registered the server successfully. I then installed the BlackBerry Professional software. I had not installation or configuration issues.
Server1 is the main Domino server and Server3 is the messaging server I installed for BPS. The NAB is replicating correctly.
First issue: When I try to add a user, it doesn't bring up the users in Server3 even though the NAB has replicated successfully. If I change to the main server, the names show up. I've read elsewhere that it shouldn't be done this way, but elsewhere somebody said it didn't matter. I don't know.
Anyway, when adding the name I get to the next issue. It attempts to send an email to the user, but I get the following:
No route found to server Server1/XXXXX - Check server and connection documents in Domino Directory.
I did a trace Server1/XXXXX and it was successful.
I also get the following error:
No route found to domain yourcompanyname.com. Check server, connection and domain documents in Domino Directory
There is a connection document between Server1 and Server3. I also added our external DNS address to the notes.ini file.
Should the FQDN in Server3 be the same as it is in the server doc in Server1? Right now it is not. Are there any other messaging things to look at?
I'm not sure EXACTLY how the BPS server gets an email from Server3 over to Server1, but I am guessing that's where the issue is.
I have some other Blackberry related problems in the Domino console, but I think those will be cleared up once I get the connection issue resolved.
Thanks
