Default View for Low Memory on BES?

Please Login to Remove!

Hey Everyone...

I recently went up to 4.1.5. And i'm wondering if it has a section where I can sort by free memory on my BB's. I have a user that I guess runs out of space and (the phone) removes emails and a few other things to free space. I created a reinstall package to remove some vendor install files but I have no way right now to be able to sort people by who needs space the most?

Any ideas on this... or do I need to go third party?

I'm not sure if this applies to BES for Lotus, but with BES for Exchange you can open the properties of any user, click on BlackBerry Device (read-only) -> Status.

This will show the unit's available memory at the time of the last status update.

I think he wants to be able to sort from that value. If you have 1,000+ users, you don't want to have to check each one. I think your going to have to find a third party tool, I am only able to sort total memory, not used or free memory.

Ok.. for some reason I didn't see the status option in my BES. That's half-way there.

But for some reason most of these have really low available memory.. and a very old check in date. Like mine right now has about 18 meg free ... but my bes says 4/14 I had 8kb.

Can I update this by resending out service books or something? And is there a way for me to set this up to poll on a certain interval?

Well you had 8mb on 4/14. That is a typo in sp5. Not sure about the polling interval.

EDIT - All of mine have checked in today between 10:30 and 11am EST this morning. That was just about 2 hours ago. i have never made a change to any type of polling so it should be default. I will keep an eye on it to see if it changes.

Ok so what's really strange with this... is the there are two distinct check in times in my BES. I have maybe like 25% that check in every day. And everyone else checked in last month on a specific day. Really weird.
