Hello

I have a user with a Blackberry 8100. He can send and receive mails but with some problem when he try to send e-mail he receive some error and when try to resend this mail again mail send it without problems. Other problem of this user is that unable to open attachments on the his BlackBerry smartphone.

I try to Resend Service Book and IT Pollicy to this user but problems still exist.
Any suggestions how to resolve this problem, because user is geographic distant?

I using Windows Server 2003 SP2 + MS Exchange 2003 +Active Directory + BES 4.1.4.12

The error you posted is what happens when you try to forward/reply to an email on a BB and the original is no longer in Outlook.

What error does he get when trying to send on the BB? What happens with attachments?

I usually encounter a RED X whenever I try to replay/forward an email.

Example I get email from person A and respond. I decide to include another person on the email and attempt to forward email that I responded to person A with and I get RED X.

In otherwords I cannot forward/replay my response to another person.

Are these emails sitting in your Inbox when you try to forward/reply? What does the Received filed show when you open the email you can't forward/reply?

I recently had a similar situation where a user also got a red X. I found that the BES master account or BES service account in our case, did not have SEND AS rights assigned to the account that wasn't able to send out messages from their blackberry. i don't know if its related to your issue as I didn't initially get the first error message, but it wouldn't hurt to confirm in Active Directory that the service account for BES has all the necessary rights it needs.
