Pardon my ignorance, but does it matter what network/model 8700 you are are on/have? Does it matter that I am on Rogers using an 8700r for this upgrade?

Done. No problems. Did not even need to re-activate BES. Zen is neat, however, I am not impressed by phone quality compared to previous Cingular OS. It is about the same.

I will test out the BT volume and clarity on the drive home.

There is a definite difference in sound volume. I use my Quiet profile all the time now because it is so loud. Pay close attention, you will notice it.

did the upgrade yesterday, no problems. i love the extra screen space and windows feel to the device..... great upgrade although the ringers are maybe too loud now. i keep everything on low now.....lol
