I run vista. When I right click and select "Run as Administrator" I breifly see the program pop up but it then disappears instantly. How do I get this program to stay so I can actually use it?
My issue is that I need to wipe part of the phone as I have the Reload software 552 error screen. This was an option given to me by our IT manager at work. I could "wipe-f" and still have my personal files, then just reload the OS. Does this make sense?
To fix the 64 bit issue on Windows Vista 64 or Windows 7 64bit:
Right click on the JL_Cmdr.cmd file, choose properties and make sure the Windows XP compatibility mode is checked. Then make sure "Run As Administrator" is checked.
Delete Choice.com which is in the same folder as JL_Cmdr.cmd.
Help for newbee required:
I downloaded and executed JL_Cmder v1.9.1.exe on my Windows XP desktop.
Isaw the some message: ...will be installed.
But what now ? Where / how can I start the JL-Cmder to install .cod files on my BB 8310. The desktop manager is installed and can connect to the 8310.

So to reset your blackberry to factory settings you simply download the link u provided and then run it when your device is connected to the desktop manager? And restoring it after to put all contacts and personal info back on wont put the IT policy back on as well?
I try to install JL_Cmdr in my PC, but it does not install, I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate in spanish and I beleive that it does not install because there's no "Program Files" carpet, it has the spanish equivalent "Archivos de Programa", usually this is not a problem, but when I try to install it it say that It cant find the Installation Path, Can any one help me with this?

So i have a BB 9000 that got the jvl error, I tried to replace those files that were broken with the java loader, now i am getting the app error 200 message. Now i would totally wipe this device EXCEPT for the files saved on it. It is the BB of someone REALLY important in the company. The device was not set to save the videos from the camera on the sd card. IS there ANY way to use this software to reload just the system software to the point that i have it show up as a drive so i can pull of those videos? Heck is there a fancy command to have it enable mas storage mode or what ever so i can pull of those videos?
You can try safe mode. Remove the battery. Then, while holding the back key, insert the battery and let the device begin to boot up. After 10 seconds or so you can release the back key. If that doesn't work you're not likely to get anything back. Posted via BlackBerryForums.com Mobile
