I'm not with T-Mobile so I can't really help any more than what's in that thread.

Did you try entering your user name and passord as it suggests?

Yes, I did enter my user name and password. That's what I'm rather confused on why it is not working. Anybody else know?

Are you on a BES (Blackberry Enterprise Server) with your work (i.e. you get your work email on the handheld?) If so, if they do not have the MDS service enabled on the BES you will get this message and there is nothing that I have found to get past it. Call your IT guy and ask him to enable MDS. then re enable the MDS in your settings and it should work.

Actually no I'm not on a BES. I'm currently a college student so I use it more for classes and contacts rather than work and e-mail (atleast at this point). Any other suggestions? LOL. I'm really grateful for the help fellas.

Ok, maybe a dumb question but is there any way to have BBWeather list the cities in alphabetical order? I travel a lot and have many cities entered in this slick little program, but can't find any way to alphabetize the list. Maybe it's not possible. Any ideas?

Awesome..... I have loaded the app on my device but I am running into a problem.

I am getting the "could not open tunnel" message.

I have: Checked the Disable MDS Proxy button & in Application permissions I have changed the connections icon to Allow. It will not let me change the Interactions icon from custom to allow.

Also, in the Firewall section of security options, I cannot (or do not) change it from "enabled" status. I click the trackwheel and I get these options: Reset settings, edit default permissions, save, close, & help. Maybe I am missing it, but I cannot change it from enabled to allow.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks from a newbie.

You should do some searching for use of the wap.cingular APN.

It's going to open up a whole can of worms...........

AAAAAGGGGHHHHHHH! NOT THE TUNNEL MESSAGE!!!!!! Just kidding, but lgreenberg is right, some will get angry for your question. Once you are in here long enough you will see why. Just do a good search for "could not open tunnel" and you will find many posts for your answer.

That should hopefully work!

That worked perfectly! Thanks!

Works for me now...

To fix I went in and added the *correct* information into options > advance options > tcp/ip and then disabled "MDS Acess" in the app

Hey Guys. Just started using BBWeather. Awesome program !!!
I am trying to keep the traffic on my device as low as possible, does anybody know what size are the updates? Read from some forum that 2 day forecast usually sends 4K of data, is it correct?

Thanks a lot.

I have just installed BB weather and cannot run it.
It says

Anyone ever heard of this? I do not have that many apps here. maybe a conflict?
