Dear Members,

I am new BB8520 user.

Can anybody please help me on my wifi connections, not using the data plan.

My device can detect the wifi network, and it says it is connected but still i can not connect to the internet. I did change to HOTSPOT BROWSER already but to no avail.

It happened to me and all I did was disabling the mac access I had on my router. Do u have a mac restriction or something??

You must have the BB data plan to connect to WiFi. That is the only way to get the proper service books.
