I have a nextel 7100i Blackberry from our company, i went to get a refurb due to the old one taking a dump. So before I had the company set up the BES my MMS was working fine, after the BES was activated no MMS, saying
"No MMS service record , message cannot be sent you can only save draft" after telling my IT people about this they say we do not rescrict any service.
Does anyone know a way around this? I am getting very agitated with this.

If there is not IT policy, you may want to try registering the host routing table. Options > Advanced options > Host Routing table > Press trackwheel > register.

I tried that several times...thanks for the quick response.
I have called Sprint, my IT dept. and everyone with a Blackberry I know and still no luck.
I have tried a hard reboot (several times)...still nothing.\
The BES has to be the problem? even tho they say they don;t block anything.'I don't know what else to try except a new carrier.

Anymore suggestions?

The 7100i can send and receive MMS but only receive SMS.
So it should work... in your Options > Advanced > Service Books, do you see the SB entry for MMS?

the MMS client [MMS] is checked
however the Nextel MMS Transport [WPTCP] is unchecked, it has a circle with a line going through it.
I do believe that is my issue but how do I get this updated? i have registered several times and rebooted the phone.

You will need service books resent from your BES Admin...

Agreed, the easy fix and potentially only fix would be for your bes admin to resend the service books, if that fails you may need to remove the service books then re-add them.
