The use of the sad meme in the lower right corner of the accompanying article graphic was brilliant. I laughed out loud.

I used to love engadget... but they're just been writing so much biased, unfounded hearsay that i can't be bothered to read anymore.

I hate to say this, but I've had very little to zero problems with my Storm, and I've had it since Day 1 they went on sale. Learning curve using the keyboard? Absolutely. But I've had none of the problems that have been listed here in the forums, and I think I've read most of them. The OS update did help the "lag" (which to me isn't a "problem" per se; more of an annoyance). My click screen works fine-no hard to click areas. Battery life has been as expected; no worse and probably better than my old Pearl. I've had two reboots and both times they were while I was in BB Messenger attempting to go back and erase real quick. That's it.

Maybe it's because I got one that was made in Canada. Has anyone noticed a trend as to problems in relation to where there unit was made?

Mine says "mexico" and I haven't had an issue. I think the units I get are freaks because I also use PocketMac and it works like a charm too. Apparently I am the only one that can use that program ;)
