Default Edge coming-I hope

Please Login to Remove!

I am hoping that the next revision to the BB line will include EDGE. I am not a corporate user but use my bb a lot for web browsing, would love this to go faster, and I would love a built in MSN messenger program that works well and fast. I think but might be wrong that edge would improve web browsing speeds? Anyone have any insight when we may see a faster blackberry in terms of the browser and data speeds ie: Edge. Thanks a lot.

Account CSR for my company said that around here (or maybe everywhere, not sure how it works) they will be rolling over to EDGE around September to October tentatively...more than likely, as with anything else, it will be pushed back...only bad thing is that all new equipment will have to be purchased...but he stated that, optimistictly, DL speeds would be roughly 380 KB/s or so...we'll see.

I think 380kb/s is quite reasonable for web browsing... yes?
