How to use BB UI Api in Java ME platform SDK environment.

Hi,
I am new to BB development. I need some help.
Can we use BlackBerry UI Api's in Java ME Platforma SDK for the developement on BB device.
Please let me know the procedure I have tried using the net.rim.device.api.ui.* package but it is not working for me. (I have added the .jar file into the application and set the path in the properties tab to locate the jar file).
Please if anyone is aware of this let me know.
