What do I do to get my blackberry to work, wouldn't charge, solid red light. And when I do battery symbol with red X through it is displayed.

Remove the battery and put it back in.

See if it charges. If it doesn't, your battery might be shot

Also make sure your using the proper cable or the AC charger.
