Unhappy Repeatedly power cycles after using "Safely Remove Hardware" on desktop

Please Login to Remove!

My curve is stuck in a cylcle of turning on and off repeatedly after using the "Safely Remove Hardware" feature on my desk top. I had mass storage enabled. I've tried several battery pulls and it still cycles on and off. The logo screen will show and then in cycles again. i HELP!!!

Dream, let me recommend you pull the battery, AND the micro SD card for now. Hold the SD card, but replace the battery and see if it boots up?

I just did that before reading your post and it booted up. I'm going back in and trying it with the media card. I wonder if the media card is fried.

Good deal, so far, at least. Do you have an adaptor for the media card, if so, use it and examine it from the PC out of the BB.

Not here at work but when I get home this evening I will examine to card on my PC. Any suggestion of what to try?

PS Thanks for your rapid responses.

Also Curve good without card - Curve bad with card.

I would look at the card on your PC and reformat if needed, drag a file over, etc., if its good, its good. I don't use the "Safely Remove Hardware" when I have the BB plugged it.

Were you able to use the card on the BB before this?

Yeah I had it loaded with music and photos. It only became a problem when I used the "Remove Hardware Safely" feature. That proved to be an oxymoron.

Problem solved, I found a window file on the card when viewed from my PC and deleated the file. The card and phone work great now.
