Default How much free space?

How can I tell how much free space I have on my Curve?

If I goto Options ->Status -> it says:
File Free: 15755018 Bytes
File Total: 55443456 Bytes

If I go to Media Manager it says:

Total Size Free Space File Size Limit
Device Memory 11.4MB 6.14MB 2.86MB
Media Card 1.87GB 1.68GB

The reason I ask is because last night I got a message that I was running low on space because of SMS Inbox. But it looks like accordiing to the BB, I have 14MB free on the device. And according to MM I have 6.14MB free - HOWEVER ...no matter what I add or delete, it always says 6.14MB free space on the device in MM.

I had it set like this:
Options ->SMS Text ->Leave Messages on SIM Card: Yes

I thought this would put my SMS Texts on the SD card, but when I changed that to "No" it moved them to the SMS Inbox. I want them to be in the SMS SIM Card Inbox (I think). BUT ...doesn't that seem backwards?

Anybody know how this should be set in order to use all the free space I have on my SD Card?

FYI. SIM Card and the SD Card are two different things...

try moving ALL YOUR MEDIA to your SD Card via the Media Manager, that is what I did last night and now I have 22.23MB of free space on the device...

You can also set the amount of time you keep messages on your device...

Try this, first, go to your SMS inbox, and go back a month, hit the BB key, and select "Delete Prior"... then go back to your SMS/MMS Folder, hit the BB key, go to "Options->General Options" and where it says "Keep Messages" select "30 Days"... now our device will delete all messages that are older than 30 days...

It will help if you don't need to keep older MMS/SMS messages... if you do need/want to keep them... I'd just delete the ones you don't need, could take some time though

I actually have everything setup as you said ..but you know what you just pointed out to me that I already knew and feel like a real dork!? SIM Card and SD are 2 different things. I can't believe it!!!! I know what the heck the SIM card is! Why was I thinking the BB means SD when it says SIM?? And the SIM and Device memory is different, too, correct?

Yes, you have:

1- Device Memory (on board memory, where apps, etc., install)
2- Micro SD Card or Media Card (extended memory for media, etc.)
3- SIM memory
