while updating OS my BB Pearl 8100 diconnected and now its not updating every time prompting for retry , i request if any one has BB Pearl 8100 back up file please send it to me so i can upload nd replace the existing shall be thankful in real help my mobile not working and i need it urgently
When this occurs, go to My Documents, and there should be a LoaderBackup file in there if you chose to back up your data in the install. Copy it onto your desktop then click abort.
Restart the OS install and let it install, once it is complete then restore the LoaderBackup to your device.
Make sure that the application loader wizard is COMPLETELY closed. Restart your computer and then run Jl_Cmder and follow the instructions. Select 4 for a wipe and type blackberry as you did before and then the Loader window will appear. You may be prompted to enter your password for the device, in which case you must, then follow the install through.
Try this, it worked for me with my curve once. When the dialog comes up click retry, it'll repost it. Then remove the battery from you BB, and unplug it. Click retry, Plug the BB in without the battery, and then insert it. Whilst the red LED is on, click retry and let the Loader detect the phone again.
