Default is there a way

Please Login to Remove!

is there a way to be on a companys BES server but not have the BB rrestricted to company policy?
i have my own BB and i pay for all service but want my Work emails.. but according to the tech here at my Company i will have to be added to the DB and i will lose all my downloading and browsing capabilities and etc.. and sites wil be blocked and i will no longer be able to get my personal email..
I still want to ge tmy personal email and surf the web and download stuff but i do want my work email as well

is this possible

Ask/beg the BES Admins to assign you to the default/unrestricted policy.

I know what we'd say here: No.

We don't allow personal BBs on the corporate BES for this reason.

so is there anyother way to get yoru Company email besides being on the bes?

setup a rule in outlook (have to leave application open all the time I think) or use the program x14 suggested

better to use mail connector because you would be able to view attachments and have one way PIM sync adn reconciliation from the HH to outlook. and its still real time. desktop redirector only routes email

what is an email connector...?

and X14... my company has a bes server so i am not sure the thing you suggested will work..

mail connector is basicly a better version of desktop redirector.

it redirects your emial to the handheld as well one way wireless sync. its used with BIS.

and you can have mor ethen one users profile linked up to one mail connector application.

so if you have 5 blackberry users they can all use the same mail connector so only one PC has to stay on not all 5.
