Default ATT 8310 odd behavior...

no replies at that "other" site, so I figured I'd check here...

Okay, so I check my BB yesterday morning. Go to my "Applications" folder and... Hey! where'd it go? Then I notice all my applications are listed on the home page and the folder is gone. That was odd enough, but no real problem- everything works. Except when I check the facebook page (not the mobile site, but the other one) it says my status was cleared at 3:14am or something. huh? I was sleeping by then... the last thing I did around 11pm was send a pic to my wife's cel.

Was there some OTA update that was thrown out there the other night?

Have you tried a battery pull?

Rule of thumb, ALWAYS check BBF first.

Well, I've learned that every problem can be fixed by a battery pull.. at least it seems that way. And yes, I did a BP. All that got me was the "Applications" folder back- but it was empty and all the Apps were still on the Home screen... So I guess I'll be spending time moving them all back...

Did you by any chance change themes or delete a theme on the BB? Do so, often will rearrange icons, etc.

Nope- still have the original- and I haven't switched to 4.5 yet, either.
And the other odd thing is that on my wife's Razr, her icons were rearranged as well.
I can only think that ATT did some maintenance or something. Or the Underpants Gnomes have branched out ...

AT&T could have pushed some application to your device or an install app for something like their music, shopping or something.
