ziggy,
We are currently running a Blackberry Test system here with our Groupwise and will be going production in April, have had several talks with RIM over the last couple of weeks trying to prep and make sure everything is good to go, here is something that I think will help you out:
At this time with the current BlackBerry Enterprise Server 4.1 Service
Pack 3, the highest supported GroupWise client would be the 6.5.6 update
2 (TID 5004629) with the FTF 6.5 Post SP6 API Rev1 6.5.6 (TID 5005621)
To verify the GroupWise clients currently installed please check for the
gwcma1.dll typically located in c:\novell\groupwise, the modified dates
should be of the following:
GroupWise 6.5.6 Update 2 Windows client 656up2 GWCMA1.DLL for TID#
5004629
- Last Modified Date : May 22, 2007
- File Version : 6.57.0.0
FTF: GW 6.5 Post SP6 API Rev1 656 GWCMA1.DLL for TID# 5005621
- Last Modified Date : July 10, 2007
- File Version : 6.57.0.0
GWENV1.DLL
- Last Modified Date : July 10, 2007
- File Version : 6.57.0.0
** Not this current the GroupWise above requires all PO have been
address for Novell GroupWise 7.0.2/6.5.7 Security Vulnerability TID#
3382383
With Service Pack 4 for the BlackBerry Enterprise Server for GroupWise,
GroupWise 7.0.2 client will be supported.
So the issue maybe that you are running a client on the BES that isnt really supported yet.
