I assume wireless and everything is working?

Have you tried reactivating one of the devices? You don't need to wipe any of the data off, just get one of the six users devices from them. Set their activation password on BES Manager, then on the device go to OPTIONS > ADVANCED OPTIONS > ENTERPRISE ACTIVATION and enter the existing device user's email address and the password that you set. It should reactivate the device.

Does that fix it?

p.s. just to check - are those 6 users all the BES users, or does the server have more users that ARE working?

I tried enterprise activation, but it proceeded without asking for email id and password. Yes there are other users, but they don’t have any such problem.

Have you tried connecting one of the devices to the BES via a cable?
Does it show up with a PIN then? And do the pending messages clear?

(One of my suggestions was to try resending the service books OTA to the device, but if BES doesn't list the PIN and normal mail is pending for those devices, I don't think an OTA service book send would help)

Thanks, Problem resolved here is the three small steps:
1. Remove the BlackBerry smartphone user from the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
2. Add the BlackBerry smartphone user back to the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
3. Start the enterprise activation process for the BlackBerry smartphone user.

Just to add my 2c worth - I see statuses as "No PIN" when the user's device has been handed over to, and activated for, a colleague (so it is no longer tied to the account that is showing "No PIN").

EDIT: This does include accidental reassociation to another account via DTM...

Adam.
