Talking Have a 7100t...do I wait for the 8800 or get a 8100 now

Please Login to Remove!

I swear there needs to be some sort of leasing program for BB's so I can always have the new one. I am seriously thinking of getting an 8100 this week but know that when the 8800 comes out I will have to have it instead....any advice?

If you like the form factor of the 7100 and suretype then go with the 8100.. If you want full qwert with the additional bulk that come with it then wait on the 8800...

Get both!

I am fortunate that I believe my Company will get me the 8100 from Cingular this next week. If I have to have the 8800, then I will buy that myself. Too bad the 8700 will gather dust in my drawer like the 7100. (I know - sell on eBay, but they are company phones, so ethically can't do that).

The 8800 will be slimmer so that will be a good thing, plus the big screen is always good to have. 8100 is to compacted together but is still a great product. Any product RIM makes is a hit.

I absolutely, certainly, categorically, decidedly, definitely, decisively, exactly, positively, precisely, really, straight out, sure enough, truly, unambiguously, unconditionally, unquestionably, cannot stand the color WHITE on Any Mobile Phone !

That’s my take on it…….....

Get the 8100 and then the 8800 when it comes out. You will have a travel phone and an everyday phone. Hell it is only money.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

We'll I think rim dos have a trade in prgram you flip your old one towards the price of a new on like if you maill in a 7000 you get 40-sd credit depending on the condition

where did you see this where you can do a trade up, i have a 7100 and waiting for the 8800. So this could be a benefit to me as it is in super mint condition.
