Default NO FREE MS - rebooting error - PLEASE help me!!

Please Login to Remove!

hi all. after all kinds of trouble i'm pretty sure im at the end of the road here however i guess one last final hurrah cant hurt.

so my storm just sits there rebooting itself, over and over and over. you turn the phone on, it says on for no longer than 10 seconds and then gives error message "NO FREE MS - restart" and automatically reboots itself. it then sits there rebooting over and over and over.

i have searched on this problem EXTENSIVELY, finally gave up and sent my storm back to RIM. they gave me a brand new one (the one they sent back has a new PIN) and i proceeded to upgrade OS, re-load my APPS/contacts etc. not even 24 hours of having this new device, and once i loaded everything back on - i did a quickpull and bang, the no free MS error restarted. i came across - http://www.blackberryforums.com.au/f...-ms-reset.html - i have nuked the phone twice now, followed all the steps in this thread and i am still getting the error. i run a range of APPS however have deleted buzzme, storm slider and weather bug however i am still getting the error.

there is a workaround whre you can turn the phone off as soon as its boots up and turn it on again and it will stop the cycle, however if i do that i loose all my data services. (i still have the BB data icon however brower, email and apps dont work)

i really dont know what to do, ive searchd as much as i can and have done all the steps available online...i dont see how this could be a hardware error if it started doing it on the brand new device not even 24 hours after buying.....

i'm happy to list all APPS im running and their versions but im not really sure if that will help.

any advice would be greatly appreciated.

cheers

Wirelessly posted

It still sounds like you installed an app that is causing this.
