I have an AT&T BIS BB 9000 with latest AT&T approved OS.
I searched the forum for the following error with no luck.
When I try to purchase an app on the BB App World, I enter my PayPal user name and password (verified on PC browser) and receive “Authenticating” followed by “Determining Details” followed by "There was a problem connecting to the payment system. Your transaction has not been processed. Please try again later. (Error Id: 20306)"
I confirmed on the PayPal site that my user name and password works correctly and the account is in good standing with validated payment sources.
Anyone have a fix? RIM and PayPal have been worthless to fix this issue.
I would try updating your paypal password or adding another email address to your paypal account and accessing it in that manner.

It does work to add an email and change your password.
I've spent the past two days going around in circles with different people each saying that it wasn't an issue with them, it was someone else. Whatever.
