For some reason my voice mail message indicator shows that I have messages when I have the keyboard locked, but no such indication appears when the keyboard is unlocked. There are no actual voice mail messages. The indicator that appears when I have the keyboard locked appears to be a cumulative voice mail count.

Any ideas as to how I can remedy this?

Leave a message, call your voicemail, delete the message and end the call by listening to the prompts, usually the * key.

welcome to the forums. try to pull the battery on the device and see if that works.
