Deleted item problem

BlackBerry 7230 on Microsoft Exchange 2003 running BES 3.6
The old deleted items problem !
So far this is the problem i have.
If user receives a e-mail and deletes it on the BlackBerry then they have to do a "Reconcile Now" on the Blackberry for it to disapear on the PC mailbox, this is not to much of a problem.
If the user is at the PC and deletes a mail from inbox, it then goes into deleted items, so empty that also, the mail, although deleted on the PC still showing on the Blackberry, is there a way around this ?
Its the problem where the secretary deals with the managers mail, and the manager reads the mail as and when, but it gets a bit mixed up as they are not been updated....
Any Ideas ?
