Default Network Tools

I am looking for a basic set of networking tools for the blackberry. I'd like to be able to do pings, traceroutes, whois, and nslookups from my blackberry. Does anyone know of a third party application that will perform these functions?

I haven't seen the tools that you're looking for in the BB world. My solution is to use MidpSSH to connect to a linux server and use the network tools there.

Sonic Mobility is good from what I hear if you're managing a network.

Hi,

look for Traceroute, Ping, Domain Name Server (DNS) Lookup, WHOIS, and DNS Records Lookup, if you just want to analyse the internet.

The Sonic Mobility product was discontinued a few months ago. Idokorro has 2 products that are capable of running these commands. Mobile SSH lets you connect to a unix box and perform the commands, Mobile Admin has it built in if you have a windows server environment.
