Disable Bluetooth while ON call already - is it possible?

I need some help. I drive an '07 Nissan Altima 3.5SL. My car comes equipped with Bluetooth technology. I know how to pair, use and manage the connection with my vehicle, that is not my problem. The car automatically recognizes when the phone (Blackberry 8300/Curve) is within range - which is great. However, on my old phone (Treo 650), I could have this exact setup, and when a call came through I could answer the call using Bluetooth, and if I elected to, I could disable bluetooth in the middle of the call.
I know how to disable bluetooth on the BB Curve/8300 both before/after, but does anyone know how to disable it during an actual call. I often ride in my car with my boss (or wife)…and Bluetooth is nice for when you're alone, but I don't always want to HAVE to answer the phone using this technology when someone is with me. Some calls don't need to be on speakerphone.
Does anyone have advice on how I can disable bluetooth AFTER I pick up the call?
