Had my 9700 for about a month and I'm don't know how I managed with out one for so long, but have a couple of questions

#1, Is it possible to change what shortcuts are on the ribon at the bottom of the home screen

#2 I set up a gmail account when I first got the phone as I was told that my Virgin mail wouldn't work, I have since found out that the Virgin works no problem, is it possible to delete the gmail from the system and set up my Virgin mail as default.

Move the icons you want on the home screen to the top row of the application screen, and order them how you want.

To move an icon, highlight it and then select move from the menu (button left of trackpad).

Just delete the gmail address in internet email setup, if you want. You can have up to 10 addresses if you want, so there's no reason to delete it unless you want to. And then add the other email address. If you are creating the carrier address for the first time, there will more to it, probably, but just respond appropriatley at the prompts.

You may want to do it at the carrier's BIS web portal rather than from the device, as I hear the device bypasses the password creation step, which causes problems later.
